A Clean Detlef…..
It took a while today but we now have a clean Detlef. Following on from E’s inside efforts at the weekend, yours truly (with a little help) managed to tackle a very dirty exterior including the roof!!
Back at Hunter Towers
It’s been a pleasant day for driving with Hunter Towers being reached after five and three quarter hours on the road, which incidentally, included a fuel stop.
Detlef is a bit “worse for wear” both inside and out after the Dales Mud encounter and will have to have a “make-over” sometime next week.
Hawes Trail Day
A Day of Two Halves!
The day started with rain here in Hawes and ended in brilliant sunshine. A day of two halves!
Arrived in Hawes
We duly arrived in Hawes at 12.30 pm after a sloooooow drive from Bridlington.

A Wet and Windy Welcome in Bridlington

Yorkshire Bound
All set and ready for the two-stage Yorkshire visit. First stop, Bridlington via the Humber Bridge then on to Hawes in the Dales National Park.
