What a fantastic 24 hours! Great fun for all the girls at Rendlesham despite Wednesday’s rain!

Finally made it back home in the UK at 4.00 pm (local time) having left Montville, north of Rouen at 7.30 am. All in all a journey taking nine and a half hours.

As expected the Channel Tunnel was busy and yet we were lucky enough to take an earlier train. The M25 was a nightmare once again from Junction 3 to the Dartford Crossing with 90 minute delays. Happy days.

 

Great to see J and M again after our joint Queen Mary 2 crossing this time last year. Thanks once again for your hospitality. Now off to Val Andre.

 

Shopping for provisions was the name of the game today………….

 

We managed a “one-off” bicycle ride today cycling from Guidel Plage to Lamour Plage but not back again……….read why in the Travelogue…..
