First Plansee photos are now available. Off to Oberammergau and Schloss Linderhof today.

We knew rain was forecast this afternoon but that was a bit extreme…….. more in the Travelogue.

Today was “E Day” as the E Bikes took on their first serious mountain challenge……….. read about how they did in the Travelogue.

It rained non-stop here until about midday. Quite a contrast from a few days ago with blazing sunshine and temperatures around 44 degrees in the Frankfurt area……..more in the Travelogue.

Arrived here this afternoon after a short detour to Isny…… more later in the Travelogue.

Great to see J and B in Kirchberg again and also M and H. Thanks for the great hospitality. Dinkelsbühl was a gem. The time went too quickly.

We are now in Westerheim and off to Ulm on Wednesday. Once again yours truly is getting behind with the blog, Hopefully things will ease when we reach the Plansee on Thursday!

 

Up to date folks but on our travels from Sunday, 5th August so watch this space……

Hard to keep up with the blog at the moment having had poor internet connections all week but we’ve now made it to the Rhein/Main area and I’m pleased to say things are a lot better.

Hopefully yours truly will get some time for the picture gallery update tomorrow.

It’s been extremely hot and very busy here in Germany over the past four days. See the Travelogue for details as yours truly struggles to keep up. The data connection here is patchy at best hence the lack of picture updates…….

Day 9 (July 25) saw us spend a very warm sightseeing tour of Bremen followed by a 15 mile bicycle trip from Lilienthal back into Bremen to visit E’s cousins summer house on the banks of the River Weser.

Day 10 (July 26) was travel day to Beiseförth in Hessen and we are now safely installed at the campsite by the River Fulda.

Day 11 (July 27) saw the bikes once more in operation as we headed out to the north and south along the R1 cycle route.
