We’re so busy here in Denmark with so much going on yours truly has been pushed to keep pace with the blog……..so here goes…. see Travelogue for more.

Just arrived in Ottersberg (east of Bremen) on Day 2 after a five hour (ish) drive. We thought the UK was bad as far as roadworks are concerned but it seemed today that the whole stretch was “stop and go”……. more in the Travelogue.

A successful but tiring Day 1 of the big tour.  We are currently staying overnight in Wachtendonk, Germany just over the Dutch border…….more in the Travelogue. 

All systems go here at Hunter Towers with final preparations for “Le Tour”…. Like all good heavyweight boxers, Detlef has been on the scales this week and the good news is that we are within the weight limits….just!!

We are on a “two stop” schedule to Denmark.

We touched down at lunchtime today. Two hours in the pits. Detlef is now ready for it’s Thursday recall but that should only take an hour! Famous last words!!

The weekend certainly lived up to expectation with excellent company and brilliant weather…….. more in the Travelogue..

A quick hop to Thetford Forest today to set up for the weekend. Looking forward to it…….

The Tour riders and vehicles took just about 30 seconds to pass us today but it is always the same. Great excitement and build up before hand but then disappointment after they’ve gone! At least we can see the highlights on TV this evening.
