We headed south from St Goar this morning visiting Oberwesel and Bacharach…….

We duly arrived in St Goar to be met by the “Bornich Crew”. It was great to see so many “old” and some “new” faces after ten years…….

A great day for cycling here – all in all 45km (28 miles) covered, stopping at Gernsheim on the way back for the obligatory “Curry Wurst”…. 

Lunch at the Golfpark Bachgrund was preceded by a trip to the largest bike shop your’s truly has ever been in,,,,,check out:

Great weather today for a trip in the car to Biblis-Wattenheim……. more in the Travelogue.

The clan left for the UK early on Monday morning and it’s now time for a chilled couple of days…….

We landed in Hahn late on Saturday afternoon along with M, E and families. Trips to Burg Frankenstein and Gernsheim on Rhein was the order of the day on Sunday culminating with a family meal at the Gernsheimer Golf Club.

We’re heading north tomorrow for a weekend get together in Hahn……

We managed to avoid getting wet this afternoon after a successful trip to the Eibsee and Garmisch this morning……. 

it was off to Leutasch to visit the impressive Leutascher Gorge…..
